    i was thinking getting an cold air intake on my 04 grand prix was looking at one from K&N on jegs is it worth the $296
    what are the benefits with a cold air intake

    There is no benefit to running a cold air intake.

    Make one as stated above. Better yet, get a lower profile cone filter and a roof baffle, and you can make an actual fenderwell intake.

    Not bad, but they want $18 for shipping. You might as well just get a cone filter and a piece of pipe from a parts store. It wouldn't really be a "cold" air intake, I call it a "more air intake" lol. But seriously for like $30 I think its worth doing. You won't gain much horsepower but at least it sounds cool! Haha

    Got an slp set up for ram air for 9.00 including K&N filter from junkyard I have a gtx ram air hood so it was a great deal
