About a year ago while replacing spark plugs and wires, I noticed that the #2 cylinder coil terminal was rusted bad. I replaced the coil pack and went on my way, now a year later I already notice that same #2 cylinder is starting to rust again?? Could a bad ignition control module cause this, also trying to diagnose a surging idle issue.....

I've put dielectric grease in the boots and on the terminals on my Gf's 03 GP and those ****ers keep rusting. I keep having to sand them down. Wondering if I should replace them

Thats the thing I put dielectric grease on all terminals when I replaced the plugs and wires with brand new AC delco wires and plugs.....all other coil terminals are fine but cylinder #2 keeps rusting, I'm thinking it doesn't have anything to do with moisture getting in it when the same coil terminal is rusting, even after replacing coil brand new, I'm leaning towards an ignition control module causing this, Might try replacing that and see if my surging idle issue goes away as well...
