iridium plugs work best for a stock engine. last the longest too.

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

Not thread jack but whats a good gap? .060? That's what most on Rockauto are showing me.
    2019 F150 XL - Make it run 12's N/A
    2012 F150 STX
    - Gonna be a race truck
    02 GT "Slowkar" 180k - Top Swap, Gen V, TOG Headers, 1.9s, e85, 3.25. It's literally the slowest e85 car ever....

It's just as easy to swap them with the motor set in the bay. That way you don't hit one putting the motor back in and break one

X2, never install your new plugs till after the engine is in the bay and after the exhaust manifolds are bolted on, otherwise you'll guarantied to break at least one, or more.

its got nothing to do with faith.

    plugs will break.

Both manifolds are already on the engine ..gonna install it that way , that will decrease the chances of breaking them. Still gonna take ur advice and leave them out til i get it bolted up...better safe than another trip to a parts store

ok then, you should be safer that way. most leave the manifolds in the bay and lower the engine back in to them, thats when the plugs will break.
