I'm usually a lurker and not a poster, I've read almost 100 post from DIY's to help questions to take care of my car but now it's my turn to finally ask a question. I have a 2001 Grand Prix Gt that finally hit 220,000 miles, something needed to be done so I figured why not top swap it. I'm literally almost done, just waiting for some tools and a new tune from ZZP. My issue right now that has me pulling my hair out is the fuel supply system, I can't for the life of me figure out how to hook all of the lines up. I got as far as putting the fuel injector clips on and now I'm stuck...Is there a diagram that could show me how to run it or does anybody have any input on how to run it all bak together? This is like I said literally the last thing that needs be done minus some odds and ends (new spark plug wires, coil bracket, and harmonic balancer) Any and all help would be great. Sorry for the long ramble.

Have a picture of what you're referring to?

There are only two connections to be made, and they both only fit the correct port.

You are using the L67 fuel rail, right?

Not connectors, I'm referring to the actual fuel lines. I can get a picture in the morning but. But my main problem is the fuel regulator and where where the rest of the lines go. And not the obvious lines on top of the fuel rail but all of the little ones. And yes I'm using the L67 fuel rail.

No, even tho that's a huge help and I would have needed that next anyway. But what I talking about is purely for the fuel supply.

There are no little fuel lines.

There is the feed and the return.

The rest is handled by the fuel rail.

I'm assuming the return and feed at the two main lines that go into the fuel rail? And if so what do I do after that as far as fuel goes? Is that all there is to it? Because there is still one more line that I have unused and I assumed it went to the fuel regulator.

There's an evap line as well. But it's for fuel vapour.

Now this whole thing makes a little more sense. We can go back to original question I started with since I have the facts straight. Haha. So where do I put this Evap line? I didn't know exactly what it was so I couldn't really be clear before. It's what's been making me pull my hair out.

Yup, figured that part out as well. But what goes from the other end of that and to where does it go? That's what I was talking about when I mentioned smaller lines. Sorry for being a huge pain, but you know what they say "Einstein didn't build Rome in one day"

Actually that was a dumb question since I'm pretty sure it's in the diagram you put up earlier and if that is true then you sit are a genius and have just solved all of my problems

Other end does indeed go to the large nipple on the throttle body.

3/8 fuel hose works great. It should be the only thing attached there.

Ok, so fuel lines into fuel rail, evap into evap vent and evap vent into throttle body.

Hells yea. Had a little leak at one point but got that fixed with a little trip to the local auto parts store. Seriously I want to thank you so much for all your help. My car wouldn't be running without you man.

Good deal. Now go invest in an Aeroforce or something that you can scan for KR with. Don't want to go through all the trouble to get it running just to chip a pistion. Oh, and don't forget to run at least 91 octane from now on.
