It's time to get my g/f's car inspected again and I pulled this code.

The check engine light is not on so can i replace the bulb?
I replaced the upper intake and cleaned the throttle body out last time around, but I never touched the pcm.
Is it possible for it to only be a burned out bulb?
Her car is a 00 Grand Prix.

Yep, I never figured mine out..it threw the code once n I cleared it n hasn't come back, yet my service engine soon light is always on thru the dic, but not the check engine light on the cluster. But say I sit in my car and turn on my radio but not start the car, like normal the cluster engine light comes on so that makes me believe its not my bulb.. Idk tho man, hopefully someone else can help us lol

When I turn the key to accessory the CEL does not come on. Thats what makes me think its the bulb.

So now the evap code is still on. I tried the gas cap hoping that it was that but its not. I've heard that the fuel filler pipe could be leaking where the plastic gasket meets the metal. Can i put rtv on it safely to get it to pass?

btw this is where i found out about the pipe: 2000 Pont Grand Am EVAP P0440 Diagnostics - YouTube
