Just curious what my NA friends are getting when it comes to KR? I generally get about 5* at 50%'ish throttle, up to 9* at WOT. I have headers, upgraded alt cable, voltage booster.

n/a 3800 with headers shouldn't be getting much/any kr, with my mods I was tuned downed to 0 kr.

I can see 5* or 0*. Haven't really tuned it yet though. It's like a personal challenge to not tune it.

PS, keep in mind I have higher loads than you do. I'm running 2.93 gearing. A GP NA should be 3.29
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    7.7*

Right after a dead spot in the stock tune where my timing like to drop to 0.

i've seen up to 16 when i was stock and then down to 8 with a ported lim and then 5 with headers if you'll run 93 it probably drop to like 2-3

I only run 91 (highest avail) but I have not started my tune yet. I am going to buy a spare before I tune anymore. I had one brick and it was a PITA to get one in my town. Now a spare is a must for me. I'm sure it's due to the stock tune but I hate having any at all.

So, it's a little high but on the high end of par for stock tune?

I noticed no difference running 93 compared to 87.

I've seen up to 6 running 87. Running 93 it stays under 5. Still dog slow no matter how you cut it.

KR is an abbreviation for "Knock Retard". The PCM is retarding ignition timing because it has sensed knocking.
