So yeah I've been in the VW seen for a while and acquired this car because I wanted something american, go figure. Anyways with dubs, switching from atuo to manual is easy, just swap tranny, pedal cluster, and ecu and done, everything bolts up. I want to have a manual tranny in my GP for obvious reasons. I know some guys have done the swap but what does the swap entail?

it really is a serious job... might want to look at what njbrain went through to do it, and still is having issues with his axles and such.

It's nowhere near like doing it on a VW. A manual tranny was never an option on these w-bodies, so you have to have everything made custom. Custom PCM programming, custom mounting parts, custom axles, etc.

I no longer have any problems with the axles. The one that RCV made up for me works perfectly. It is actually working flawlessly.
