Putting another transmission in next month and gonna freshen up the motor while I'm at it , thinking of putting in a cam and possibly some giggle gas . Getting a reman. Gtp transmission to handle the added load . Any recommendations on cam ? Thinking of comp cams , and ls1 springs . Btw the 3800 na now has 236,000 and my last transmission lasted 50,000 miles and I got it from a junkyard for 300 bucks . Sorry haven't been on here in a while fellas . Rebuilt the front end with moog , good cross drilled and slots , and a jnch of other goodies . Hope to hear from yall

There was no 65 in 96, not even in the H/C/G bodies that had the S2 engine in 95/96. He may have meant that any 96/97 60 would work. What year is your car? The swap can be done. It's just a matter of what minor things need to be changed to make it work.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
