So I feel like I would feel better if I could have a second opinion on exhaust for the GT Now Obviously Im going to do the simple U-Bend delete. But Im curious what kind of mufflers I should run. Should I run magnaflows, Flowmasters, Cheap turbo muffler ect ect. Im looking for a nice deep idle tone along with a non rasp at WOT I absolutely cannot stand people in town with their 4 bangers and no res cat and muffler. Anyways Ive really been spying on a nice pair of Magnaflow 11365's and Im really curious if anyone else runs these and likes them. My budget is max $200 I know that is a bit low but Im not looking for a Cat back Borla either lol. So shoot some opinions my way guys its much appreciated!

modded 02' Grand Prix GT with Magnaflow mufflers - YouTube

I dont think magnaflow 11225's sound bad.

I really like the way the stock exhaust on my comp g sounds, its definitely a good bit more rumbly and noticable than my old NA GP. I dont know if it's a special GM option, the mufflers have GM part numbers on them.

If your wanting to do UBEND delete why not just get headers and leave the stock exhaust alone.

It's a pita to do anything to a FWD car. But it's worth it.

pontiac is a PITA in general, and yea i secound what ryno said, just buy SSAC headers for 175 and leave stock mufflers or do SLP or borla mufflers, ull gain more from headers then the exhaust will and it will be cheaper

I have a 2.5" h/f cat with a ubend delete. The resonators are gone, but I kept the OE muffs...and the car sounds AMAZING! It ain't a SBC or BBC, but it sure sounds mean and refined and stuff.

I use two Trush Turbo's and have a Magnaflow glass pack where the resonator should be. In my opinion it sounds nice, a bit raspy at wot on Park, but much better when on load.
