So I was wondering do I need to remove the engine when installing a aftermarket camshaft? It kinda looks that way but I was wondering if anyone has did it without removing the engine. As far as I see If im going to remove the engine I might as well just buy a wrecked gtp and put the engine and trans on my car lol

it can be done in the car. never done it myself, but im sure i read here that you lower the sub frame on the pass side, and pull the cam through the wheel well.

If you think you have to remove the engine to toss in a baby cam length like the 3800, then you need to do more research
