    Hello all,

I'm hoping someone can help me track down the problem with my wifes car. about 2 weeks ago my wife ran to the gas station with hardley any gas on her tank and when she returned she said the car was missing. i checked the car out figured i would get it scanned at the local parts store they said it had a misfire on #6 cylinder, i bought a new plug for it. this didn't have an effect, i replaced the coil pack for 3 and 6 still no change. pulled the fuel injector and swapped it with #3 trying to move the problem no change. after eliminating all that as possibilities i took off the modual and had that tested that tested ok also. finally today my buddy came over and we checked the plug for the #6 injector with a noid light and found no power to #6 injector.

does anyone have a wiring diagram so i can trace the wire down without pulling the whole harness off or any idea's to help me solve this. any help would be apreciated as it's getting frustrating to deal with. thanks

When you test for power at injectors, you should use a multimeter or test light on the power wire of the injector with the other end to a good ground. (not the injector's ground). Our injectors get ground from the pcm which is how it controls them. With key on you should see +12V at the positive lead for all injectors. They are simply looped from one to the next, if you don't have power at #6, then you'd only have to go back to #4 for power. If you don't get ground, then you'll have to trace the ground to the injector back to the PCM.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Thank you for letting me know, I just went out and tested the wire and found no juice. I made a small splice in the #4 injectors plug and spliced it into the #6 plug and restored power to the injector and it's running great. Thank you very much.
