Ok so my 07 GP was running fine all day until just after before going home i filled up a full tank of gas for the first time in a while. When i floored the throttle half way the engine sounded a little low but with power but the car was not going that fast as it should be. instead it just speeded up very very slowly. Also it like jerks when i let off, i took a look at the engine and everything as fine. I get back on the road to test and when i put the throttle down all the way the car pauses and then the engine puts out all its power as normal but not that loud of an engine and the car is speeding up so slowly but in second gear the car picks up very quickly. So what the heck is wrong now, when i punch it at half or full throttle the cars engine puts out the power but the car is not speeding up like it should be and again jerks sometimes when letting off. And it seems to happen in first gear, when in second it goes but sometimes not really, i thought because the engine was so hot from driving but now when it got a little cooler it still does it. The only thing i think may of done something is that in teh parking lot you guys know those white or blue or whatever color stone things that are on the floor. You know when you parked the car the tire bumps into it the little stopper thing in a parking space. Well i did not know there was one in front of me when i went forward pretty quickly while turning right and only the front driver side tire ran over it hard but the car seemed fine but ya could that have damaged something? really need help and hope i did not screw anything up.

Ok so ya now its worse, i can hear some sort of metal clanking noise under the car and it did that before cause of something loose under some little flapy plate thing. Now its even more louder, when my bro pushes the pedal down half way that car is not going just very very slowly speeding up. the engine seems to be fine but checking out the exhaust i cant tell if its clogged or not but the whole car just sounds and feels very very different. Also when stopped at a light the car is rocking and shaking. it has never dong that before, we cant tell if something is broken or clogged or what. really need help now cause all the blame comes to me from me driving.

Well actually thanks for trying to help but i figured it out, the accordion thing that was on our intake was ripped from the bottom. it also got ripped more and more and finally we were able to see that was the problem. i fixed it temporarily and will get a new one to fix it for good. You guys think it would be a good idea to clean the TB and spray the MAF with the cleaner, since the car has been running with the TB wide open for a day.

Look into the tail pipe and have your bro step on the gas pedal. See if you can see the clogged cat that way.

might as well clean the TB its not that hard anyway. the l36's have a rubber gasket so you can always remove the TB and clean it really good.
