Hey all,

To go along with my transmission issue (yay) my car has a problem accelerating at part throttle, mostly the first pull right after a start (cold or warm, doesn't seem to matter much).

IE, I go out to my car to leave work. It's 70 degrees outside and the car was run for about 10 minutes about 4 hours ago for lunch. I start the car, shift into drive, and pull out of the lot and slowly accelerate. It feels like my power is cut and when the torque comes it comes spotty. If I push in the throttle a little more, all of a sudden it will take off and rev right up to 3k or so and shift into 2nd. After this initial acceleration, the problem doesn't seem to be noticeable.

I guess it's not really a big deal, but something is definitely wrong, and to go along with my transmission issues don't want to skip something seemingly small that is leading to the larger problem.

BTW, I unplugged my MAF and noticed the same problem, which may have been caused by the computer relearning without a MAF, or could have been caused by the same problem. I have a new TPS, cleaned my throttle body plate 2x (I don't notice any resistance to opening any more, I suppose could still have gunk issues).

Thanks!
