got an oil change today...as i was leaving i notice they put 5w 30 instead of 10w 30. I drove 3 miles..should I be worried?

Nope. Read your manual. Either will work, depending on temperatures where you live...one can be better or the other.
ur fine. i drove on 5w-30 last summer without issues.
yes you should. its kind of like if you're always synthetic and someone puts in coventional. you're ok for a little while but make sure u put in synthetic next time lol
Thats not true you can switch and your motor will never know the differance. Like running a syn. blend which is a mixture of both oils. To the OP the only differance between 5w-30 and 10w-30 is that 5w-30 will flow better in below 0 temps. during a cold start up. After both oils are up to temp they are the same.
The important thing is you have oil. I always run 10w-30.
And actually you can read some more if you're curious about oil types and such. http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/motor-oil-101/
