Are the stock spark plugs from ACDelco, Iridium or Copper? I noticed you guys said go with Autolite 606 Iridiums, or the $7 stock ACDelco plugs... but copper ACDelco plugs arent $7????

    Yes, stocks are Irridium.

And that price is for the Irridiums. As long as you stay away from any Bosch plug or any platinum plugs you're good to go.

Alrighty, just wanted to verify that, Im the 3rd owner, so at this point I'd be shocked if it still had stock plugs.

It was your post I was reading for ideas, Im implementing some of your N/A suggested mods. And what metal plug covers, I honestly havent even looked at then yet?
And um, quick question, my P0420 code popped up, I know thats a inefficency code for the cat, but what are the odds its an o2 sensor? Because with a quick glance yesterday, I noticed the o2 sensor isnt sitting level in the bong.

There are metal covers over the plug boot that is supposed to keep it from "melting"...but they don't matter. Those along with like 19,565 different engine brackets you can pull off to make the job tons easier.

Remove your O2 sensor from your bong and install in the bung on your exhaust system. That must a been a hell of a party you had there.

Okay, one last thing... why do most of you run 104's when it says 606's or is the 104's for SC cars?

Modded guys run 104's when they need to.

You always want to run the hottest spark you can.

So when you get to a certain mod point, the 104 become the best option.

606's are stock heat range in the copper cores.

So since I'm fairly stock, I should be running 606's then.
    Okay thanks DeathPunch

How often do you want to change your plugs?

The 606 copper cores will last 13-15k miles normally. And cost maybe 12-15 bucks per time.

The ac delco iridiums will last 75-100k miles and run about 35-45 bucks.

Its your call. I prefer the coppers, but I'm also slightly modded.
