read the whole thing, the 15 whp power is 6000+rpms. like i said you need a tune so you can atleast rev higher.
but drive it for while, your pcm need to adapt the best it can for the extra air. I had a tune already before i got the hv3, i got the hv3 and went got a retune and overkill said i was running lean so he added extra fuel and timing io noticed a good jump after he was done, just keeps pulling harder now.
thats even after my first tune....so thats why i say TUNE TUNE TUNE makes or breaks the hc3 experience.

IM not a mechanic. all i know is what overkill told me when i got my first tune(just cai and u-bend delete & 91 octane tune dont know if that makes a difference) that when i get a hv3 to get a retune, that he would get more power.
so i did that just yesterday, he drove it for a bit, pulled over, said i was running lean so he added fuel and some timing, took a run, did it again, added mroe fuel & timing, took a run, did it again. then he changed some part throttle fuel trims and i was done, and i can honestly say pulls alot better now then it did before the retune.

Ask overkill as i dont know im just going by what he did/said.

haha i rather not do that again for a while, the fuel injectors were a absolute pain in the ASS to get off and on but ill still give it a chance maybe the pcm has to get used to the different air flow like previously stated above

Now that they're been freshly removed, they should come out very easily.

I can't see how the HV3 would affect your MAF calibration which is what determines your fueling.

It would greatly affect VE which supposedly isn't referenced for anything but MAF failure.

I never really felt a huge gain stock with just the HV3 in it. Headers is what I felt the most difference. And like Matt stated, 1-3/4" primaries do seem to make a big impact on low end. But top end it eats.

all the extra power is at the high rpms, instead of losing tons of power after 5000 rpms it keeps the power going untill 6000-6200 rpms THEN falls on its face lol.
if you were expecting more power across the board then you didnt read what it does correctly.
exactly why i didnt buy the hv3, instead was given to me as a gift lols.

You put in 92 and made it feel faster with the HV3 because it was probably knocking and yanking timing out and the higher octane killed it.

    Yay, N/A knocking800.

To add, If I keep this silver car, I'll be hitting the dyno before and after I do a few things...

As it sits now, just an L26 top end with no runners at all, intake, ported TB, tune...and uhhh, a catback/180*.

    So, maybe 170 WHP.

    I'm looking for 220 with the heads/LIM/cam/WB tune...etc.

How does that change your maf calibration?

It suggests your MAF calibration was incorrect or the fuel settings are incorrect.

Thats weird that you didnt notice any gain although it takes me a day or two before i notice any gains from my mods. I would say unplug your battery overnight and try it the next day. Speaking of dyno and N/A im gonna hit the dyno soon since i got an overkill tune now and see what i put out.
