    in my 05 gp gt, my car shakes when i shut the car off every time, then when i start it up and when it idles sometimes it vibrates and does minor shaking, and sometimes when i start it up it does another shake (sometimes, not all the time) any ideas wat it could be? possibly lose bolt?

    EDIT: it does NOT shake when im driving it nor does it shake when im at a stop light, only when i shut it off/start it up

    do you have poly dog bone mounts?

    If all your mounts are stock, then have any of them been replaced?

    as far as i know there are all stock and not to sure if they have been replaced by previous owner, but i havnt replaced anything

    Sounds like you need engine and trans mount.

    yea it does, shouldnt be to much right? like around 100 dollars?

    Probably. Check Rock Auto and see what they go for if you can wait for them to be shipped. They are often cheaper.

    They will be more of a PITA to change than the $$ they cost. Especially the motor mount. Trans. mount is easy.

    yea figured, thanks for the help bro, PS: we dont have rock auto in philly, but i know were to get one if needed

    Could be misfires. Take it to an auto parts store and have it scanned for codes for free.
    Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
    Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
    Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

    u think its misfires? idk it happens every single time i shut it off, im taking it to mechanic tomorrow morning to get it fixed/find out what it is and few other things fixed

    It doesn't matter what I think. If you've got misfires, a scanner will know.
