I know it took us some extra time to do it nicely because of that hose.

Im not sure about that, maybe but i think we might just leave it alone

Replace the corrugated piece that attaches to the throttle body.

That's what matters, not intake placement like I said like on page 2.

You talking about the thing that looks like an accordion, and with what would you suggest replacing it with?

So like a rubber PCV pipe thing or something similar, i think i may have seen something like that at the Home depot. What difference will this make, I'm guessing this might keep the air in the side cooler?

truth is it sounds cooler than it looks. and because you can hear it now, you'll be on the gas more to hear it and wasting gas.

build the setup like this /\/\I also cleaned my thorttle body and mashed the screen on accident lol.. so since i had the hv3&downpipe in I went and spent $50 on a incar retune from overkill, I asked him if i could leave the screen out since the accordian tube is now removed, he said as long as it is smooth flowing intake he can tune without the screen. after a few minutes of running my car he said it wasrunning lean(and this is being previously tuned for 91 octane, mods were cold intake with a 60 degree bend and one 45 degree bend into the bumper, and u-bend delete) so he added more fuel and timing and did some runs then stopped and dialed in some more, did this for about a hour maybe more. and i gotta say this car hauls a** for a n/a lol. I honestly now believe that my cold air intake was holding the car back some.
    HAI ftw lol

Nice setup with the intake bro.

Also ya it is true it does sound cooler, also thanks for the link and i had looked at that before we mad the open cone. I think we might do it this week if we got some money to get the thing which is going to be really cheap, only question is the tube thing that goes into the accordion thing. We will get a rubber one so you thing making a hole in it and putting the tube thing in will be ok? It like wont come off nor do will have to glue it in? Also we will need to find the exact size to fit on the MAF and the TB. Thanks again for the info, my bro always wanted to get rid of the accordion looking thing.

Seems to be what i was thinking about doing, the thing we have is not the sensor, the MAF is. THe thing we have is like another tiny hose for air for something.

Ya im pretty sure they can help, sucks with this motor especially since i cant do much with modding since its a N/A, people say that this car can not reach like say very low 15secs with just $700 worth of mods while its N/A. Is that true?
