Sounds like you lost 4th gear.

I still have 4th gear, just not when I punch it. Honestly I could even be revving out in second gear for all I know. At 5800 rpm I'm doing about 90 km hr/ 55 m hr. I really hope it ain't a torque converter.

Well if you're punching it through all gears often, its a probably a tranny problem..

I baby it, but once in ablue moon il hammer down. The only thing I've done is a k&n air filter. So all stock, 55 000 miles. It's scares me more than upsets me. Does your gp do this?

Mine doesn't as far as I know, but its 120k miles, and I've never tried punching from zero through all gears, because I know it puts too much power on the transmission.

that doesnt seem right. i put my car in 2nd one day and took it up to 80, and that was just barely in the yellow area.

true... something's f*cked up because first gear won't get you to 55.

When I drive right, it's fine. It l shift all gears, it's only if I punch it from at a low speed or stopped itl just hit the end of second gear and just rev out if I don't let off the pedal. Il let off the pedal completely and it will go into the next gear. I rarely ever drive it hard,
