awile ago before i built my intake the car whined like a supercharged car.. and now after i built my intake it sounds turbo'd

heres the deets.. when i floor it i press down to about 50% throttle then hammer down.. but before that while im easing on it it sounds exactly like its building up boost... then when im going wot and it shifts it makes this very high pitched sound just like those high pitched blow off valves.. and its coming from the intake.. never made the noise before this.. im thinking its just the filter.. any ideas? i meen i dont mind it cuz it sounds cool but what the hell would make it do that??? btw my car is NOT turbo nor supercharged.

Ive had this same prob with the 3 or 4 different intake setups ive done, even still. It does sound cool when im going 1/4 to half throttle but once my car starts roaring it disappears. My thought is theres an intake leak somewhere. Make sure everywhere is sealed tight.

Fix your pcv. You are most likely missing the o-ring below the pcv valve.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Ok.. go to the coils. Now move your hand 2 inches closer to the windshield. That three wire sensor that goes into teh black piece on top of your motor is your map sensor. Under the cap that it sits on .. is your pcv.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

I've never heard anything like this...and my GT is boring slow.

Has an intake too...open cone at that.

Your all just making up stories...make your car faster.

Then when it breaks, like they all do...talk about those noises.

nothing you can do about it, ive tried fwi, wai, filter right on TB, different filter, and always makes sucky noise(i hate it) specially when its cold and first startup.

its probably the emissions purge solenoid. mine did this before, and sometimes still does. everything is brand new up top, intake mani, gaskets, pcv valve, seals, etc.
