    How is it that hundreds (that I know of, at least) have done this swap and are able to run it just fine for years? There are several right here on this very forum. It's a very well known and very safe mod as long as the proper tune is loaded. You could probably run a stock GTP PCM if you just do a straight top swap and it would be fine until a more detailed tune was possible.
