I'll explain this as simply as possible. This has been going on sporadically since I got the car. Not related to my LIM gasket job.
About 1 in 10 starts turning my key to start my car doesn't turn the engine over and the car fails to start. All I hear is a very faint "click", not like a solenoid, just something in the dash. The fuel pump runs in "ON", the battery has a full charge, runs beautifully once started and gets good gas mileage.
When this happens the engine just completely fails to even attempt to turn over, it doesn't "struggle" to turn over, because it simply doesn't turn over. The interior lights don't "dim", its like I get no response... When it finally does start it starts just like normal: turns over one to three times and roars to life.
I just need some advice on where to start inspecting. As it is I have no clue... Thanks in advance guys.
