To each their own, i like it, 2 stock mufflers keep the rasp down to a minimum, and remember, that -3 first start of the day, reving @ 1500rpms@idle. once the pipes and car warm up and rpms drop in half it sounds alot better, alot louder when cold outside and car is warming up. will be getting another video soon when the cars all warmed up. but i shouldnt be making excuses cause i like the sound in the morn when its cold.

Mufflers don't determine the rasp...the setup of the resonator does. If you don't have a resonator...no matter WHAT the exhaust setup...it is going to get raspy. I bet it does sound great up to maybe even 2 grand...but after that...bumblebee.

hmm, well i like raspy then lol! doesnt have any popping or crackling when it revs down so thx god for that. and while cruising at town or highway speed it is really quiet i swear! soon as i accelerate though i hear it.

Here's what I WOULD do...since you have the factory catback...put a 26" glasspack in place of the factory resonator you cut out...they are like $20 bucks from Summit or JEGS...have it welded in and get a 3" catless downpipe...the cat gives the car a "deeper" tone and still doesn't affect the drone of the car. Also...we put catless headers on a bone stock '04 Imp SS with the factory V6 dual catback and it sounded pretty mean...but however we slice it is still your car and if you like it more power to ya. I'm just tryin' to clean up your exhaust note since I was told by a Honda guy my exhaust sounded crappy when I had my resonator and cat cut out...ugh LOL

never listen to a honda guy lol,jus j/kin.
if i ever get to top swap ill be doing headers and then i will do your exact setup cause(except i need a cat or i fail etest) i dont really want to get any louder then this.im just cheap and didnt want to spend any more money but wanted it louder, but i like it.
thx for your input, i still need to get my brother drive it so i can here a drive by to make sure i 100% like it, my brother says sounds great but he might not want to hurt my feeling lol!
