I have an 02 gp gt and the exhaust system is stock minus two flowmaster 44 series mufflers. I want to make the car a bit louder, in a preferably cheaper manner. i was thinking about u-bend,res, or cat delete? Im wondering which combination would sound best KEEPING IN MIND i already have flowmaster mufflers, since it seems most who delete either of these 3 things have stock mufflers. THANKS!

u bend delete = help flow and maybe some mpgs

cat delete = thrown codes(need a tuner to delete said codes), raw gas exhaust smell and maybe some more noise

res delete = more raspy sounding.

nothings going to sound good with the flowmasters. trust me. the only reason i have them on is they were free, and i still regret doing it. keep it quiet till you can get a different set of mufflers that arent chambered.

i just installed 08 ss impala exhaust(dual exhaust) on my o5 ls impala
kept the resonator off, and sounds great! dont think it would sound good with anything other then stock mufflers though(WITH resonator off)

To my bestest buddy FFDP...U-Bend delete does increase MPG's a little but actually netted almost 7 wheel horse on a bone stock GT and then catless headers added 19 to the tires. SO...it's totally worth it IMO.

Buy a $20 glasspack from Summit or JEGS...put it in place of the factory resonator...take the cat and u-bend out...or just get a 3" catless DP...OR...get headers...your call there since ZZP's 3" DP is about the price of headers nowdays...
