Just finished cleaning my MAF and TB. The TB was dirty and gunked up as hell, it took a while to do it. Well worth the outcome though.

    after

wanting to do the Seafoam treatment soon, just gotta get the time and the spark plugs

If you ever can snag up an '04+ car on the cheap with starting issues...that is 90% of the time the issue...and everyone over looks it that is why, since it is free...I always suggest it to anyone having issues there first.

there is a rubber gasket on the TB, if your careful and dont mess with it too much i will be fine, i re-used mine. I just tighten the bolts down pretty good, be carefull though Ive heard of some people breaking them

He has an L36...plastic intake manifold vs. your aluminum one...so you've got a little more play since yours is stronger than his

If it is dirty...it might need replacing...that is...if you have the plastic LIM gaskets.

Well...if you havent installed your intake yet...when you yank it all off...check it by opening the throttle blade.
