im kinda in the same boat i tried to hold at 2000 rpm n then let the brake n mash the gas n i just spun the tires alot how should i take off at the track

Get headers and you won't ever have to worry about spinning the tires in a GT

You got a blower...you gotta be easier on the gas...feather the throttle.
