Hey all. I have an 01 3800 na. I was working on obtaining parts to do a top swap, but haven't had the funds to get it done yet. This past week, SES light came on, took to Autozone, ran the code. p0102? Believe it states the MAF return signal bad. I have a 97/98 supercharge/throttle body. Would the throttle body work on my 01?

    ok cool.

i'm presuming the MAF went bad. On initial start up, it would run rough, rpm's would spike/dump.. it actually cut off a few times. But while driving it would be fine, i take my foot off the accelerator to coast, and the rpm's would fluctuate 500-750 rpms....

I didn't think the sensors were THAT different...if you unplug it and it cures it...then yes you need a new MAF. I'd first try MAF cleaner though. It's like 4 bucks...and it might fix it. Better than spending the 150+ bones on a new one.

The TB will fit but your car will run like crap...it wouldn't be tuned for it.
