Looking to get a 2.5" DP catless from ZZPerformance for my '05. My question is since I'm getting the offroad catless, I won't need the 04+ extension right? Instead just getting a bung? I got a canned tune from Will so I have the code issue taken care of. Also, if I don't need my downstream O2 sensor, will that effect engine performance negatively?

    get a 3" donwnpipe, seriously. a 2.5" is a waste.

now, for the catless dilemma. you will need to run an o2 emulator or do the de-fouler trick to space it out and get it out of the exhaust stream. the rear o2 sensor is hit or miss with fueling issues, so it is best to keep it in the system, but address the problems it creates (SES code).

I agree with 3" unless you are buying it used or something.

You will need to either get an O2 simulator or have the rear O2 programmed out of your PCM. Also, if you're not going much farther mod wise with a GT, then a 2.5" dp will be fine.
