Hey all. I have a friend wit a 2000 GT.The car was a no start wit a SES code for a crank sensor. replaced it then cleared the code. Started the car and it ran fine. For about an hour or so then bougs and dies. Doesnt starts anymore til about 30 mins of just sitting there. No SES light. Then it cranks and starts with no problem until after an hour then it dies and does the same thing all over again. Any suggestions

it honestly sounds like the problem i had with my crank position sensor... does the tach drop to 0 rpms before it dies out?

So u saying its possible I installed a faulty cps new out the box. Ill check to see if the rpm tach drops before the car dies. Also sometimes when accelerating hesitates right before it dies. But not all the time

Ok. I have a warranty on it. Ill swap it for a new one. If that dont fix it, anything else I should look into or check?
