    can anyone tell me if there is a way and how i can remove the end stud bolts that run out of the head and connect the exhaust manifold? 99 GT 3800

    sometimes that doesnt work use 2 nuts on the end and torque the first nut backwards and it should come out.

    yeah.. thats not what im talking about.. im talking about the studs that the exhaust manifold hangs on.. one of them is in the way of getting a head bolt out of the side of the head

    yeah put one nut on half way down, then tighten another one on it then back the inside one out and it will pull the stud out. Or buy a stud extractor.
