Hey everyone. I know I haven't posted much, but I have been reading quite a bit on here and have gained a good base of knowledge on my 01 GP.
The reason I am posting today is I was wondering if anyone knew the sizes of the power steering pump pulley and the AC compressor pulley. I have a 45 mile commute to and from work and I am looking at ways to improve gas mileage. Freeing up some horesepower from the power steering pump when it is not needed is a relatively easy task. I have tried turning the steering wheel with no power steering and it is hard to do at low speeds, so I do not want to remove it completely.
I do have some other ideas for controlling certain functions of the vehicle to improve performance and gas mileage. I was wondering if anyone has a electronic copy of the Factory Service Manual for an 01 GP. I need in depth information on the vehicle including wiring schematics and sensor input/output conditions for the car.
I appreciate everyone's help in this endeavor. I also appreciate the work everyone does for this site and the time they contribute to finding information for others and contributing that information to others.
