Sure you guys have probably heard this before. Ive decided to go the rockers route. Whats the significant difference between 1.8, 1.84, and 1.9. I read on zzp that 1.84 are the highest you can do with stock valves, but will this kill the valves instead. It looks like 1.8 is playing safe, but what would be my gain difference between the three. If i get 1.9s im getting 105# valves, but is it gonna be that big of a difference from just getting 1.84s? Thanks for reading.

PS: Am i missing any supporting mods? Except for retainers and locks and rods, stuff like that.

you're missing the word "springs" beside the word "valve."

    get aftermarket springs and 1.95's

Anytime someone changes valve train geometry etc, the springs IMO should be changed. The stockers were not meant for anything other than stock rockers. Many have had success and failures by not changing them. Safest route is to change them. L76/LS9 springs are great and low cost for what you suggest.

At the same time the retainers get changed to LS retainers to work with the upgraded springs. Locks are not a requirement or suggested item unless you go above 110# springs.

If you are looking for the best power for the money spent on rockers with an NA, aim for the ER rockers. Being a split ratio they do the best job overall.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

And by then...you'll want a cam...just saying. Rockers get old and boring...not to mention they reach their limit very quick...cam...depending on the cam...not so much.
