Starting to put a little maintenance on my engine and I've noticed that there is always oil on top of the Lower intake manifold where the two hidden bolts are on 3800's. Is this normal and where does it come from?

Oil in the intake? Isn't that PCV related on the N/A motors? I don't know...but if it is I know they are cheap as hell...like 2 bucks.

well i did shake the pcv and it clattered a couple times but then got stuck. so i shook it harder then it started to clatter again. I wasnt sure if that would have anything to do with bringing up oil though.
