ok my car is throwing both these codes currently.
First one is Catalyst efficiency low-bank 1.
second is MAP/BARO or MAF /VAF sensor condition.

what could be throwing these? also when im driving normal and hit 3k rite before i shift my motor sounds like its ready to blow, and today when i was getting on the e-way i gunned it and when i hit 70mph my car sputtered.

My car had both of those codes, one was because I didn't have a rear o2 in, and then I tore apart and cleaned my TB spotless and all the codes went away, but I couldn't tell you the problem haha

Ok well I took off MAF and it wasn't a bit dirty or didn't look like it atleast. Shined a light through the opening into the throttle body and its spotless? Like oke tiny brown spot as far as I could see. Anyone else know what it could be? Freind said maybe try changing the feul filter but mines only got 17k miles on it. Maybe the feul pump is going bad? Idk if this is a problem part in grand prixs. Need some insight please

Take the throttle body off, and all the parts connected to it and then clean it all, you'll be amazed.

Could be the start of it going bad. Only way to tell is to yank out the o2 sensor and drive it to see if anything changed...if it did...take that b1tch out.
