    simple k&n intake here. painted to match the rest of the engine, and all.




    all done. love the sound i get out of it now! so wutcha guys think?

    looks good mang, maybe its just me but the clamp closer to the pvc looks like it should be moved further down

    Hot air intake... doesnt the stock end up being just as good if not better sincer its sucking in all that hot air???

    nice! simple but catches the eye .. and to think for a intake like that on eBay would run you like $60 with a Chinese filter lol

    no buddy. if u look up some stuff on these short ram air intakes, they are JUST as good as the cai's. a comparison showed the cai gave .5 more horsepower than the short ram. im not spending an extra 200 bucks for a half horsepower.

    ya, its not in magazine photo mode YET once i get the paint done and everything, i will take the time to super clean it all
    and corygnar, urs is cleaner, but mine is painted to match lol

    hey where did you buy that at? im new to mods so the only thing i have done is exhaust. but i got a friend who says buy k&n intake even though its like 300$ he say u get what u pay for. anyway want to kno whats good but not expensive and where to get it

    45 degree street pvc(has the hub on one side only), and no hub coupler both from home depot. then 4 inch filter. peace of cake

    i couldnt find the one hub pipe, so i had to get it with two hubs.. turned out fine


    what did u do with your pcm?
    i cut out the tray and left it on there

    my pcm is just where the box was.
    and i seen a bunch of stuff about the intakes online, and i kno people who DO dyno testing, mostly mustangs and camaros and such. but i seen someone on here who did the comparison using a laptop too. forget who tho
