I have a 98 GT that I'm pretty sure just threw a connecting rod, it sounds like its chewing rocks. Seeing as I am going to have to transplant the engine I figured I could upgrade to something a bit more peppy. My dilemma is if I get a GTP engine would it be wise to snag the trans, ECU, and harness as well? I want the swap to be as headache free as possible, so I'd like to make sure I am fully prepared and have everything I need to do the job the first time. If I swap the trans to GTP fare will my CV shafts have the same diameter and spline? If I use a GTP ECU and harness will I need anything else for boost control?

    Thanks in advance

As long as it isn't a '97...should be good to go...passenger side axle is different though because of the HD Differential.
