I keep going back and forth in my head..Lots of power or just a few mods. I seriously like this car.

If I go the route of bigger power goals, I think S/C is my only real option. I'm confident in my grease monkey skills, but I just hate ruining a perfectly good car....or at least having the potential to ruin it.

Do you ever regret doing it? Things not go as planned and you messed up something that was perfectly fine befor you got arms deep in it?

i thought the same thing before i turned my GT into a GTP....there is nothing like the power you will get from the supercharger. i went from a 14.9 N/A car to a 13.0@104mph best bang for the buck. i run the ZZP SSM90 kit and have no regrets.

I'm leaning towards the S/C. But at the same time I have worries about doing it to my 06. I emailed Intense about the PCM issues and they said,"We've never tested an 05 PCM in an 06 so it is hard to say if it will work
well or not. The 06+ GP's use CAN bus communication while the 05 does not
so I don't know if communication with the BCM and other modules will work as
    intended by GM."

I can't really mod it if I can't tune it. I had asked in the PCM forum about problems encountered with using a different PCM and I never really talked to anyone that had done it.

all you need is a good tuner to reflash your PCM. the blower only uses few parameter changes

I was under the impression it was impossible to reflash the 06 and up PCM's.

Sadly with just a swap, and stock manifolds, there is alot of risk for KR, so I would recommend leaning to tune, or having a friend close by, cause knock will tear apart the NA bottom end.....

But no, I have never regretted my top swap, I just wish I had ported my heads before I had put them on

They said it would work. So I've gotten mixed reviews. Still waiting on something from Overkill..hopefully they'll be the tie breaker

I just wish I could talk to a couple people that have done the swap and see what results they've had.

I'm regretting mine, its been almost a month without my car, still workin on getting it back up and running. Kept running into problems during the process. Just make sure you do all your research before you start, and make sure you have all the parts as well. Cant remember the amount of times I've had to post trying to find things out, or scramble to try and find parts. Just remember, morad parts company is your best friend. haha

I have no regrets I had about reached the limit of potential with a N/A build at 13.94@99.7mph I went the Nitrous route and shaved 1sec. off my time but I did'nt like having a refillable powersource so since I already had P&P heads I went the ZZP SS M-90 I now run mid 12's with a 3.5 and SSIC,just do'nt drop pulley sizes until you have the mods to support them and you'll be fine .Chico.

exactly why i sold my top swap stuff. Car runs perfect and i just couldnt risk ruining something on my DD. Not that i dont have confidence in my skills, it was just alot of work and it would consume a good amount of my time troubleshooting and tuning once the top swap was finished. I've seen some successful topswaps, but i've also seen an equal amount flop and mess up later. That could be due to install error or tuning error... just didnt want to risk it myself

on top of that, i'd still be forking tons of money into the thing for polished blowers, intercoolers, pulleys, etc. It's been nice actually increasing the funds in my bank accounts
