If i was to choose one, which one would be the safest/best quality/best value/ most horsepower gain purchase?

i can only afford the ebay headers (speed daddy) would it be worth it to buy these or should i just get the 3" zzp downpipe with cat?

If you ever plan to top swap or get a cam or rockers & HV3 for your N/A car...get headers...if not...get the DP and take off your front manifold and port it for free with a die grinder.

Gains? 10 horse maybe? You'll lose a lot more low end with headers vs. the DP, but you'll be able to breathe better on the top end with headers than the DP.

IMO, headers...only if you plan to mod more extensivly...if not...get the DP.

In the end its your car...I'd say without valvetrain mods headers will make it feel slower...and you will lose that low end grunt that you need since the N/A 3800 is such a turd. You can retain that low end by getting a 3" DP and either buying a ZZP Powerlog Front Manifold or taking it off and hogging the piss out of it with a dremel or die grinder of sorts for free.
