I am getting ready to do upper and lower intake gaskets, valve cover and injector rings. Anyone have any recommendations on where to get them from? Brands to get or stay away from? Anyone sell a complete set of everything needed?

Fel-Pro makes an all aluminum LIM gasket now? I hope so, for your sake.

Ok, educate me .... Is GM the only one that makes an Aluminum LIM gasket? Do I just ask for one for an 04 or later 3.8 or did it replace the series II gasket also? Anyone have a part number?

Fel pro's 2nd design lim gasket is also plastic. I ordered all my gaskets from zzp when I I'd mine because I had a bunch of other stuff I was getting at the same time.

OK, did some digging and discovered that the part number from GM is 89017816 for the aluminum gasket. This is the same part number for all seriesII and seriesIII 3800's. 97-08.
