i cannot tell you what cam would even suit you unless you tell me what your goals are. i know you said 300 hp, but that is a very bland description of what youd like to achieve. are you looking for something fun to run street light to street light? do you want to run a certain time at the track? do you want a highway monster? the cam setup will make or break a setup. usually once you go far enough into it youll also need ported and polished heads clearanced for high lift and you then have to start looking into aftermarket timing chains which gets expensive very quickly.

if all youre looking for is around 300 crank horsepower then rockers will do you just fine.

I'm more interested in having a fun car to drive. Maybe eventually I'll take it to the track and do some runs, but at the moment I'm not concerned with my 1/4 mile times. I would ideally like to finish with 300+ hp to the wheels, but I know that it will take some time. Thanks for all the help guys.
