dont think so, when he found the vac leak with the new intake he sprayed carb cleaner around the manifold and the rev went up, meanig somethign was wrong with the intake he put in, crack, warped, pin hole, so he replaced it, and its again doing it, somethings not right...

I haven't heard of many warped intake manifolds on these cars. What about your upper plenum? Is it stock? Check the area right under the TB. The stock ones have a problem with the plastic melting from the hot gas coming in from the EGR. Also check the EGR tube where it goes into the intake manifold. Right where it makes the 90* turn to go in, they tend to crack and create nice vac leaks.

that whole upper intake was replaced already, but that is no longer an issue, spun a bearing in it...when it rains it pours....anyone know of good prices on a short block? the whole top half is new so might as well use it....
