hey guys i did the head gasket and lim gaskets on my gf's 04 pontiac grandprix 3.8 na, with 120k and now im getting 2 codes, p0171 system to lean bank 1 and p0108 manifold pressure sensor circuit high input,

now it does have an exhaust leak behind the 2nd oxygen sesnor, didnt line up perfectly and didnt have a new gasket, and the engine is jumpy at idle when first started up and sometimes when driving when lightly on the gas...any help would be great, also for some reason the maf sensor wont click in, i pushed it as far as it can go but no click...

check the pins on the MAF plug are not bent.

Could be running in VE mode and using the Bad fuel spark table in the PCM. CEL is not illuminated first start when MAF failure is detected.

Also pull the EGR tube from EGR to LIM manifold if you bent it out of the way or treated it with anything but "please don't break" type of respect.

They are thin and can crack right at the the edge which causes a vacuum leak and commonly a P0171.

VE volumetric efficiency. It uses a table in the pcm ^(bad fuel) to keep the car halfway running until you get the maf hooked up right. After the MAF is plugged in, check for vac leaks.

the maf isnt bent or anything but still cant get it to click in all the way... cleared the codes and wiggles it and it tripped the cel, but this time giving me, p0101, p0068, so i def have to get the maf in somehow, also what is the black thing that goes into the upper intake between the tb and egr, has an electrical and vaccum attachment...

hey sorry for not posting... the evap wasnt in all the way but not causing an issue... still getting a p0068 and p0101 on start up... i can clear them and drive and they dont come back... but the car bucks when on the gas lightly... theres still an exhaust leak under the car after the 2nd 02 sensor... could that be causing any problems? and im leaning towards vaccum leak or dirty or bad maf sensor... i used propane to try to find the vac leak but didnt notice anything... checked injectors all along lim and upper, tb etc... any ideas?

Sounds like you missed a vacuum line somewhere.
