    Are parts from a series 2 compatible with a series3...such as the cam??? any help is appreciated

    Yes. The only thing that is different are the heads, LIM and the S/C. All of which have been redisigned to perform a little better.

    But they can all be bolted up to any series 2 3800

    Rods and pistons are diferent too.. from a strength perspective.

    yeah, my buddy has a montecarlo ss with a nice cam, but i think im going to save the time and just buy one.
