10-4, autozone sells them so I am going to go this route.
I have already contacted ZZperformance to return the straight pipe and they said that will be fine.
So this weekend I install the walker and see what happens. If I still have an issue I may try switching to Acdelco O2 sensors as I am running Bosch right now and have read mix reviews on those.

If the emulator worked for several years and then the code showed up again, that means the emulator is dead btw. You could've just got a new one but like other said tuning it out is the best way

ended up installing a walker catalytic downpipe and so far so good. Its my wifes car and the performance increase is not a big deal to her. Also the increase in noise and smell was not something she was too excited about.
Side note - I did notice that my long term fuel trim drop pretty much to 0.0 now as before it was slightly higher in the +2-4 range. I also noticed that the downstream O2 sensor never really goes above 0.8 volts where before it would.
if you had your battery unhooked that cleared the pcm and its relearning, ltft will hit 0.0 when 40% or more throttle is given till the trims learn.
the o2 voltage should dance up and down. never seen mine go past 8.
Never unhooked the battery.
the new o2 sensors might be forcing it to relearn. check em again in a week. might be different.
im guessing you had codes? if you cleared the codes, you also reset the pcm. what clearing a code does.

there ya go. depending on how much you drive it, it could be learned in a day or so. i dont drive mine much so i just wait a week. once they read the same wot every time you know they are learned.
im willing to bet on a stock tune your -15 idle and -12 wot cause thats where most who check theirs find it running. rich. why the cats clog i bet.
