Hello, I posted a few months ago about crank sensor code symptoms. Well here's what is does, driving along ,engine stumbles tach dies , trac control light comes on, but will usually keep running, but sometimes will die and be hard to start, which is what happened today, but next time I restart it the tach works fine again, throwing codes p0336 and p0102 . Couple months ago I cleared the codes and the symptoms disappeared for a long time, just acted up today. I did a volt test on the crank sensor and got a voltage signal on both signal wires which says its working. From what I've read if the crank sensor is bad the engine cannot run at all, is it possible the sensor can intermittently be bad? wires look ok, guess I should examine wires and harnesses closer.
Another thing I read was that a misfire caused by something else can cause these symptoms, such as bad plugs or wires .
I'm going crazy.
