Teflon paste? And its 89inch pounds right?
Sent from my LG-D851 using Tapatalk
Yes the paste is highly recommened. Helps keep the oil from wicking up and seals the LIM bolts down. LIM Bolt torque spec is 132 inch lbs. Convert that to ft lbs and you have 11 ft lbs. I did mine at 15 ft lbs cause I used the AC Delco metal gaskets.
Make sure you tighten the LIM bolts in sequence.
89 inch pounds is for the UIM, not LIM. Tighten in sequence as well.

its coolant, not oil your sealing off. lim bolts go into the water jacket of the heads.
Both.

So bolted the lim down to spec and in sequence but when i look at it i still feel like theres a little gap between the two is thus normal?

Wait did you put RTV in the 4 corners?

Yes i put on the side rubber seal then the gaskets and then rtvd where the side seals meet the gaskets so 4 places

i do a dab in all 4 corner's, the install the lim and rubbers, then 4 more dabs. smear it so it touched both gaskets int he corner. sh its sealed now.
But is it normal to look like theres a little gap?

Tapatalk error. Switching to PC lol
I did multiple trips around as well. Give the Teflon paste 20 mins to settle and do a re-torque.

So theres two hoses that become one at the throttle body and then one go to the evap pruge solenoid and the other goes to the top of the fuel pressure regulator. Does anyone have a part # for this? I tried to custom make one but its not working out well.
