I think it's on the back side on the bottom.

04+ is on the back, goes into bracket straight I think. Reach behind it and go towards the engine.

Just use a parts website for a picture of it.

Would it be easier just to pull the lines and take the compressor with the engine.... ac isnt much of an issue in Michigan this time of year. I can recharge it later on

Under the car most likely, remove the splash shield.

So i can get it now but my 15 mm wrench is to small? Tried a 17 and still to small. Any chance they put an 18 on it... still have to pick one up but why would this be the case?

There is NO reason at all to pop the lines. I've had my motor in and out with the ac slung off the the side

Take the compressor off the bracket. Then the bracket off the motor if you can't do it the other way

Issue is the 3rd bolt behind the compressor between the lines and block. Which lines block from getting in with a socket. 15 mm wrench does not fit this bolt nor does a 17. So now going to try a 18 next. Reason i suggested taking lines off is from this being a pia i can only imagine what installation will be like

pop the 3 nuts off, as seen in the bracket here, on each end and one in the middle there. then just take the two bolts off the bracket to engine.

2004+ is different. Because they run a AL pan and the bracket is different I think.

Ya it doesnt seem to look close. Ill get some pics up soon to compare. I did get it off and ended up being an 18mm. Now just need to get axles out and get the two exhaust bolts to loosen up for me.

    Just to add , I went from a l67 to a l26 bottem end.
It's the same procedure for me both ways. Just remove the bolts holding the compressor to the bracket. Move out of way. Pull motor.
