Figure around 80-100k as a maintence item.

You can trying cleaning the throttle body and MAF sensor with the correct cleaners to try and help aswell.

How Exactly do you remove the O2 Sensor?? I have a 94 Grand Prix with a 3.1 and it seems very difficult to get to, let alone remove. Is there a trick or is it just a PITA to change the O2 Sensor?

Unplug the clip, then use an o2 sensor wrench to get it out of the exhaust pipe.

    Its hella easy.

    Thanks.

I tried that and it wasn't Hella Easy. I could barely get to it.

I thought there might be a "trick" someone here knows that would help.

Or maybe now that I know it is Hella Easy I will get a better Look at it.

Tip the engine forward by undoing the front braces but be careful of other things that are stretching. Loads of PB blaster, a O2 wrench with a breaker bar. I had a hard time with mine too, I'm talkn days of pb blaster and bloody knuckles! Wear gloves and beat on it and you will get it. Be careful puttin the new one in because you can hurt the sensors wires.

Thanks JC. NOW That sounds more like My Experience. I didn't think of moving the engine forward, that may be enough to get my hands near it at least. Has anyone gone from Underneath, bewteen the firewall and the engine? I looked at this for a while but never tried to get a wrench there, it was when I was replacing the Motor Mount. I am also a little scared of putting the new one back in correctly so there wont be an exhaust leak... I hate to make things worse than they were before the repair

I think it would be more difficult from underneath, If it helps take off that coil pack. Don't worry about it leaking just torque it to 31 ft lbs. You will notice a difference in mileage atleast i did. I put a denso sensor in the first time and it would idle funny and drink way to much fuel. My second sensor was a AC delco and i like it alot good luck!
