I found these headers on eBay and was wondering what you guys thought about them. they are ALOT cheaper than other brands which is why i think they are just stock headers that are dipped in chrome. what i want to do is get more power and get rid of that dreaded bend. I don't want stock headers. im either gonna get new headers or a better downpipe. what do you think i should do. here is the link to the headers.

pacesetter makes headers but there 400 bucks. Your better off buy ported mani's if anything, unless you wont to pay up for headers

Also interested in those you posted about for that price it might be worth a shot

where can i get a reasonably priced down pipe for my 3.1? and if i do get new headers will that eliminate the bend?
Actually which is best? a down pipe or headers or both? also how much more power will i gain if i port the stock headers. and how much will it cost cause if its around the same price as the ones on ebay than id rather buy those.

sorry if im rambling but ive been reading other posts and i just dont know whats best. if you were me what would you do?

those on ebay dont seem to come with a downpipe, but you can get one put on at a shop for cheap. so after all set in done youll be around 300 if not a tad over. when the pacesetters are 400. rather just pay up and get those, come with a dp and with a finish on them

I am.. I think the headers he linked are for a 3.8. We've established that the 3.1 did have a set of headers available. I figured while he was installing, he'd want to freshen up that LIM gasket, put a new distributor hole plug seal in it too.

i hope the gaskets or the the whole motor blows out soon. everything is under warranty so ill get a brand new motor for 50 bucks
and im going to go to my local muffler shop and getting a new down pipe put on. I got a buddy who works there and he said he would do it for next to nothing. intake and tune up is next on the list. thanks for all the help guys.
