My motor was running great. No problems until about a week ago it started stumbling and the "check engine" light would flash. I took it to get scanned and the said it was cylinder #3. I checked for spark (good). I replaced the plug and wire. I also replaced the fuel injector. The engine light does not flash anymore it just stays lit but the car doesnt run better. It's a 3100 with 137000 miles. What the heck?

The flashing light means you have multiple misfires. There may have been something wrong with the plug or wire. Now that you fixed it, you will need to get the code cleared. You can either go back to the place that scanned for the codes and have them cleared, or disconnect your battery for 30 minutes.

    ^^That.

The PCM stores the codes regardless if it is still there or not...and will retain it until it is cleared...for the most part.
